Quel amour de motel et quels hôtes extraordinaires ! L'accueil et la générosité de Sandra place cet endroit dans le top du top des endroits à fréquenter !! Une chambre d'une propreté impeccable et le meilleur déjeuner qui soit . 3 sortes de muffins maison, des scones sublimes, bagels, très bon café, oeufs parfaits, yogourt, fruits,etc....||Et une ambiance chaleureuse qui vous donne envie de revenir...||Dans une petite ville magnifique où on produit une bière..magnifique !!!||Thank you very much Sandra. For who you are !

Sommes arrêtés ici en passant par hasard...il restait qu’une « suite » ! Vraiment impressionné! La chambre est grande.. propre... il y a même une cuisinière et tout ce qu’il faut pour se faire a manger.. pour un arrêt improvisé! Wow!

I wouldn't go to this motel with high expectations. It is not fancy, but it was clean, quiet and had some very nice features. The rooms are outdated and could use some wall repairs, but they have added some great features like a modern shower faucet system. The bed was so comfortable though and bedding was fresh. Toilet paper was actually nice toilet paper, which is rare for hotels. The staff were helpful and kind. There was great sound barriers in the rooms. The pool was perfect for a cool off or a place to read. The area surrounding it is eroding and needs some repairs. Otherwise it was great! For a short term stay this place is perfect. I think with some minor upgrades, it would be amazing.

Not What We Expected — Disappointed with the Condition Post-Ownership Change We booked this cottage based on the website's glowing reviews, but unfortunately, it seems those reflect a previous ownership. If you're expecting a quaint, clean brookside getaway as described, you may be in for a surprise. Where to start... The bathroom was not clean, and the window blinds and valance were thick with dust and grime—definitely in need of replacing. The small kitchen range was coated in grease and stuck-on food, and it clearly hadn't been cleaned underneath in ages. When we turned on the burners, they smoked heavily from the built-up residue. The kettle was similarly greasy, and the kitchen overall was poorly equipped: one bowl, one fork, no oven mitts, and a dirty sponge left by the sink. Even the dish soap bottle and compost bin lid were grimy to the touch. The cottage sleeps four but the kitchen was far from being equipped to accommodate that. There were cobwebs throughout the space, and the rug in the living room looked (and smelled) like it had never been cleaned. The bedlinens were stained, and the towels were thin and threadbare with holes. Despite the use of the word "luxury" in the name, the experience didn’t reflect that. Unfortunately, we were there for Dock Days and the See Me Run marathon and all other amenities were fully booked. Otherwise we would've left. It’s genuinely disappointing because this cottage could be charming with some attention and care: a deep clean, fresh linens, stocked kitchen basics, a better mattress, and some updated furniture would make a world of difference. In short, we don’t recommend staying here unless or until the new owners have addressed these cleanliness and comfort issues. Proceed with caution.

We were willing to do "cheap and cheerful" but got more than we bargained for. We endured one night and cancelled our second night and left Shelburne (forever). The new ownership doesn't appear to have much more investment in this place other than collecting money from hapless travellers. Everything is dirty and in a state of rot.

My crew of 14 guys stayed here for over a month. The location was perfect for us. Any issues that came up during our stay were promptly resolved by the friendly, professional staff. I hope we get to stay there again when we return in two years.

I checked in and checked back out with a refund. I told him I couldn’t sleep in a room that was that dirty. I don’t think the sheets are being changed regularly and there is a definite lack of cleaning going on. Do not go there!
